LaGrange County Public Library-Shipshewana Branch Library

My daughter and I love to visit libraries when we wait for the Amish. We weren't disappointed in this one. Beautiful, welcoming yard and exterior with a well organized, clean interior. The staff was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful. What I especially appreciated was seeing patrons there, mother's with their children, students. Usually my daughter and I are the only ones visiting the library. This library offers all kinds of programs. It is what a library should be; what many libraries used to be.

I stopped to get an item on order. I called cause they were closed even though website said open. They were suppose to be open for curbside the time I was there around 12 but the employee said no we're closed, we open at 1. Then they asked what my card number was and ended up bringing it out to me.

Good selection and nice computers and the staff is very friendly and helpful always ☺👍
