La Vera Pizza

Stop scrolling and just go to La Vera. Definitely a gem in Croydon. Their specialty pizzas are top-notch and have tried most of them, the burgers are doubled and they are juicy and cooked to perfection, and the salads are actually a meal, not an afterthought. I've been going here for years easily my favorite spot for a reason. Get there before everyone else figures out how good this place is!

We get our food delivered. The food is hot and amazing. The Sicilian pizza is the best that I've had. The special pasta dishes are our favorite. I can't rate the inside restaurant or staff because we call for our orders to be delivered. Last thought, the expected delivery time has been right on.

Where do I start? You walk into the restaurant and you can see your breath. The staff stated that it is difficult to regulate the temperature because the door continues to open and close. It is hard to understand that methodology as when you enter the restaurant you walk through a vestibule before entering the main area. This tells me that they did not have the heat on. We proceeded to order our meal, "personal breakfast pizza", chicken soup, toasted ravioli, and cheese garlic bread. As we waited at our table, the owner's son was sitting to our left, playing a game on his phone so loud that I could not hear the people at my table. La Vera pizzeria is the best in this area they are very friendly inside but the important thing is I'm from Long Island and this is the closest Long Island Pizza that I have had and that's a big compliment.
