Old Croydon Cafe

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating here this morning. Probably the best breakfast spot ever. The owner Danny is an amazing guy serving great quality food with great service. My coffee never got empty and they checked in all the time. My wife got the eggs benedict and they were the best we have ever had, hands down! I got the country fried steak and it was very good with an amazing gravy. I really wanted to try as much as I could, so I also got a pancake and a sausage link, both were amazing! If you haven't tried these guys out you have too. It is a hard favorite for me now. Thanks Danny and staff for a great experience!!

Modest, homey, ,old style cafe with excellent friendly service. The food was delicious, portions were generous and the prices are very reasonable. We detoured from I-95 and it was well worth the brief side trip. Go!

You notice it immediately: this place is intentional in all the right ways. The welcome feels genuinely warm, the menu is focused and confident, and the calm, cozy vibe practically nudges you to slow down and really enjoy your food.

Found this little gem on a cold Sunday morning about a week ago (mid-April 2023) and my family and I are so happy we did! The atmosphere is very cozy and “homey”. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in (party of 3) and welcomed to sit wherever we liked. Upon sitting, our waitress came right over and took our drink order (all coffees) while handing out menus. Our coffees came out super fast and we had all the fixings needed (sugar, regular and diet) cream, milk, etc. Our waitress even offered French Vanilla creamer (my fav!) :) As for our meals, we had biscuits with sausage gravy, chipped beef on biscuits, eggs with bacon and home fries, and a side of toasted blueberry muffin.
