The huevos rancheros are the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten. You HAVE to try them. I always get a few tamales to go in the morning as well and save them for lunch. They’re spicy and delicious and perfect. This is the best place and the staff is always so kind and friendly, you truly feel like family when you come here.

Totally insane not to take cards in 2026. It's a huge issue that could be fixed with a Square USB-C card reader for $9.88 on Amazon same day delivery. Processing fees are dirt cheap - charge $1 for card payment and you are making money every time you swipe. I love the food and have eaten there since 2004 when it opened downtown, but it just drives me nuts when owners inconvenience customers and drive them away before they get a single bite. I would buy a Square reader and send it to them as a gift, but if you are stubborn enough to refuse cards for over two decades, no chance they'd use it.

One of those different places, I’d say unique. No credit cards are accepted, the owner lady doesn’t speak Spanish back to customers only English, no lime for tacos or pozole but enchiladas verdes are delicious… weird!🤔

This is genuinely some of the best food in town. Coming from a Mexican household, I can vouch that this food makes me feel right at home. And the owners are amazing. Some of the best people in town.
