La Taqueria Express

I stopped by here last week and was surprised at how empty it was when I arrived. It’s hard to say if that was because they were nearing closing time or if it’s just a quieter spot during the week. I ordered the shrimp burrito, and it hit the spot. I wasn’t expecting them to be so generous with the shrimp, but they really packed it in and I appreciated that. It was filling. One thing that did catch me off guard was the price of guacamole. When I asked to add some, they told me it would be an extra five dollars. Personally, I think that’s a bit excessive, so I ended up asking them to leave it off. On the upside, I noticed they’re open later during the week than a lot of other restaurants in the area, which is definitely convenient if you’re grabbing a bite later in the evening.

La Taqueria Express is a fantastic local spot to enjoy Mexican cuisine. We tried the tacos, which were good, but the standout was definitely the birria taco. The employees are very friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy delicious Mexican food with excellent service, La Taqueria Express is highly recommended. They also have a great taco tuesday special, chicken or el pastor for only $1.99. 😋

Great food! The "Pollo Asado Nachos" were 10/10; a lot of food, so I would recommend sharing it. I also got one 'Birria De Res Taco," an 8/10 decent taco but nothing special. Lastly, the "Chips & Salsa" were great and came with a lot of salsa. The restaurant, in general, is very generous with napkins and salsas.

Ordered for take out. I got the Pollo asado burrito, my Fiancé got the birria torta. We also got churros. We will absolutely be ordering from here again. The food was delicious and fresh, service was fast. I asked for no beans on the burrito and it came perfectly. Food was priced very well for the amount of food you get. My burrito also came with chips which was a nice surprise.

Good taqueria spot, underated spot. If you want some good steak tacos late night this is the spot to come. They got this pineapple fresh juice which goes great with the tacos, deff a recomendation.
