LA Surf & Swim

I was so excited to try LA Surf and Swim after hearing good things from other moms, but honestly our experience wasn’t great. Hygiene and Cleanliness: On our very first lesson, there were two big dogs walking around the facility. One of them had diarrhea literally right next to my husband’s foot. The owner came out and just hosed it down - didn’t wipe it up, didn’t sanitize, didn’t even say sorry. With barefoot toddlers running around a pool area, this was really concerning and honestly kind of gross. Instructor Quality: The instructors just seemed like they didn’t really know what they were doing with a 3-year-old beginner. They didn’t explain anything to him or try to make him comfortable. We have been coming to LA Surf and Swim for 2 years. Coach Syd and Coach Sammy have been amazing. We have seen such a significant improvement in our son’s skills and how comfortable he is with the water now. We highly recommend this team! We have tried other swim programs and this has been the best!

By far the most fun, caring swim teachers around! Having worked one-on-one with multiple coaches, the owner, and managers, it's easy to see why LASS is so popular amongst local families. They truly know their stuff & make learning to swim a FUN experience - not always so easy with young kids! Their new location is amazing as well.

Great instructors and love coach Syd! He is so good with my daughter in the pool, she loves swimming now!
