La Shish Kabab

I would recommend this restaurant based on the customer service alone, but the food absolutely holds its own. I couldn’t decide between the chicken kafta and chicken kabab sandwich, so when I asked for a recommendation, the person at the counter offered to make one with both. They also let me substitute the fries for hummus, which I really appreciated. That level of accommodation goes a long way. As for the food, everything is made fresh and it shows. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and you can tell care goes into every dish. The lentil soup genuinely surprised me. It wasn’t just lentils and broth, it had a smooth, almost puréed texture that made it rich and comforting instead of basic. It’s one of those soups you think about after the meal is over. First time visiting this Mediterranean restaurant. I was very happily surprise of the quality and flavors of my dinner this small family owned restaurant has to offer. The baba ganoush was perfected. The lamb shank was a nice size. The meat was tender, juicy with its own delicious sauce. Prices on the menu was reasonable and large amount. I've traveled all over the entire world and honestly can compare quality /flavors this place has to offer! Definitely much better than other restaurants in the surrounding area which are high price franchised or made from corporate companies. The person whom took my order was kind, patient and courteous. Give a try, and ask for the garlic sauce! You wont regret!

Great spot for a halal meal, and conveniently located near our hotel. The chicken platter and shawarma were solid, but surprisingly, the masala fries stole the show—they had more seasoning and flavor than the mains. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the portions were not generous. Perhaps the To-Go may be but not stay-in. It’s a good option if you’re in the area and looking for something quick, and halal-friendly.

Top notch service. The lamb Chops were so good. We walked in 30 mins to close and they still accommodated us and was very patient even when we were indecisive.

La Shish is geographically located in a nice neighborhood & has a nice parking lot. Restaurant offers wide range of food & place looks clean. However, in order to survive in this competitive market, they've to step up their g& add more flavor & taste to their food.
