La Real Michoacana Ice Cream Shop

We were visiting town and we stopped by here for dessert. Their paletas are so authentic and so delicious! One of the best I’ve had. I had the durazno (peach flavored) paleta, it had real fruits, perfectly creamy, it has that real fruit taste and not the artificial flavored taste. They had so many flavors to choose from! They have ice cream bars, gelatos, savory snacks like elote, and shakes too. The place is clean, and has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend! Try their desserts, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped in and grabbed some elote today. It was pretty good. Nothing to fancy about it like some places, but it was solid and I would buy it again. My only real complaint about it was it was the most expensive elote I’ve ever bought before. I’ve gotten bigger cups than this for half the price in other towns. But I believe they are the only ones in McMinnville doing it so your paying for the convenience of not having to drive Murfreesboro or Nashville.

Ice cream was good, no syrups and very few toppings though. Worker didn't know what an ice cream sunday was, he spoke ZERO English!!! Gave me 2 3-scoops in a styrofoam coffee cup, no lids that fit, ice cream started to melt in my car. Both cups totaled $22, a little pricey. One and done...
