Dinner tonight at La Presa in Highland Village. They opened at the end of 2025, but we hadn't had a chance to get there yet. I really loved the way their menu was individual items - so my dinner could be 4 different items and I could try around the menu without breaking the bank. Everything was well done. Seasoned perfectly and balanced. Great service. Just a really good experience overall. Tamales green chili chicken, queso blanco, pico de gallo, cotija cheese Chicken Verde Enchilada poblano, sour cream sauce, monterey jack, salsa verde Pork Al Pastor Taco charred pineapple salsa, onion, cilantro Gringo Taco Supreme ground beef, jalapeno ranch, monterey jack, pico de gallo, lettuce

Would NOT recommend! My hubby grabbed takeout from here. Don’t bother calling because nobody’s going to answer the phone and the automatic service is just gonna turn off your phone call. The automatic service tells you their hours and how to place a takeout order and how they don’t accept reservations and if you have any inquiries, you have to email them. Now let’s get into this terrible food that isn’t worth $70!!! 2 Quesabirria tacos $6pc (the meat, lacked seasoning, and birria jus as well.) 2 Al Pastor tacos $4pc (was the only thing flavorful. It was just missing the pineapples that supposed to come with it.) 2 Chorizo tacos $4pc (it was extremely dry and didn’t have any flavor/seasoning to it.) Single Steak fajitas $18 add on shrimp $18 more (which we only were given three pieces

Great lunch! Had a morning appointment and a lady at the office recommended this spot for lunch. Only there second day open to the public and everything was great! We sat outside over-looking the highland village courtyard. This resturant is located directly across from Aplos. The service was outstanding! "K" did an amazing job! She was energetic, knowledgeable about the menu, very pleasant and courteous! The food stole the show! The presentation was top knotch! Everything was delicious and well seasoned! We will definitely be back!

We were very impressed with this restaurant, their decor was very nice, and the food was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a unique table service style that works very well, if you need something you just stick your little card in the stand. I tried several different kinds of tacos. The shrimp were my favorite.

We came in on a busy Saturday night, so we knew it wouldn’t be perfect; but our waitress was pretty inattentive. We had to ask for things multiple times, never got refills, and the table next to us waited a long time just to have their order taken. It was clear she wasn’t really keeping up with her tables. (Miles and Leslie -- 2 other servers who were NOT assigned to our table -- were amazing and helped us out when they could. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of, which we really appreciated -- that's why I'm giving service 5 stars.) Luckily, the food was good. We started off with the El Trio for an appetizer, which consisted of salsa, guacamole & queso with chips. The guacamole & queso were delicious! The salsa, not so much. I ordered two quesabirria tacos,
