Boondocks

I had heard good things about Boondocks and it was True! Tried them for lunch today, they were busy but were seated promptly. The place smells fantastic. The aroma of smoked bbq wafts through the air. Good selection on the menu of all the bbq staples, plus burgers, tacos, tenders, salads and hotdogs! (And more) The smoked chicken is a star. Smoky, juicy and tasty. The brisket is likewise a star. Beefy, seasoned well and moist. The wings are good. The pulled pork is good and the smoked sausage is very tasty. Beans were good. The Elote Corn is a star side item! Fries are normal crinkle cut. You’ll not leave hungry. Friendly service. Will return.

I’ve eaten here several times and there hasn’t been anything that wasn’t delicious. Hands down the best ribs I’ve ever had. Service is always top tier—give them a try. You won’t be disappointed

WOW! Amazing, delicious, friendly and just overall the best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. Owners are great and dedicated which is seen when you take your first bite of the tremendous food with generous portions.

Stopped by Boondocks BBQ in the Belhaven neighborhood and it did not disappoint. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of mac & cheese, and both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. They also have a solid variety of items on the menu, so there’s something for everyone. The service was amazing, and Kody, the owner, is awesome—friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the place. Great food, great people, and a spot I’ll definitely be coming back to.

Omg had my wife birthday gig at Boondocks it was awesome. Owners and Management great service! Price is on point and the food was great! You must try everything and I mean Everything…wings are smoked and deep fried! Did I say Smoked and deep fried! Get there now! Fondren is my new spot
