If you have been waiting for his 2nd restaurant to open up the WAIT is over. Come and get your favorite authentic Mexican food. My wife and I got the Menudo and burrito, the flavors are super!!! Topped with your preferred salsa just hits the spot. Please watch out for the salsas, the have an inviting visual but can be spicy!!Come thru they have variety of different items to try.

I was a regular at the original La Placita in Snellville for years, but then I moved to Duluth and couldn't get it as frequently. Imagine my excitement when driving by Kroger and seeing the "La Placita coming soon" sign. We watched for months as they prepared the site, and when we finally saw the "OPEN" sign, we immediately went in to get dinner to-go. The food was just as good as I remember, and there was some new stuff on the menu. The vegetables and salsa were extremely fresh (you can probably tell from the photos). They had 4 different types of salsa (red, tomatillo, spicy green jalapeño, and spicy chili de arbol); all were great! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the best and most unique Mexican taqueria in Duluth! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of amazing flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and customer experience. If you're looking for delicious tacos and outstanding service, this is definitely the place to visit. Highly recommended — I will definitely be back! 🌮🔥

I’m not a Mexican food expert, but the tacos I had today were great, the guacamole was fresh, and everything else was good too.

First time trying homemade Mexican food and I loved it. I’ll probably keep exploring other dishes for a while!
