La Parisienne French restaurant and bakery

This was my first time coming here. It was very full when we first arrived but cleared out pretty quickly as we waited for our food. Don't be in a rush! Our food took 45 min to arrive and I noticed two tables that arrived after us were served first. No worries as I said, not in a hurry this time. I had the croque madame and my husband had the eggs Benedict. The madame was a little hard around the edges but yummy. My first time having that but have always been curious. The eggs were all cooked perfectly. I look forward to returning and trying the pastries.

TLDR; Delicious food, exceptional service provided by Robert + staff, quaint romantic atmosphere. Does not feel like you're in Aiken, feels more like a restaurant in NYC. We came in a little early for dinner, which thank goodness we did, this place got BUSY and the whole dining room was already pre-booked!! A nice gentleman greeted us and was able to quickly accommodate us with a nice table on the porch and turned on the over-head heaters for us, since the weather was a little chilly. Our server, Robert was exceptional! Very kind, knowledgeable, and provided us a nice overview of the menu and specials for the evening. Not great. I’ve never been served ice cold eggs Benedict before (over sliced deli ham) and the French toast was also very cold and extremely underwhelming. We were beyond excited to finally try this establishment as the exterior is phenomenal but the product quality is a major miss.

La Parisienne is a true Aiken gem and is a 'must try' If you're looking for fresh flavorful food, and interested in supporting small local business. This café delivers a mini vacation from the moment you walk in. Every dish features the French genius for turning simple ingredients into unforgettable moments on the plate. It all tastes like its made from scratch-and probably is. From flaky croissants, to the velvety quiche (my husband's favorite is quiche Lorraine) to the onion soup with its rich broth, and perfectly melted cheese, the flavors are balanced and comforting. You'll definitely be thinking about your meal fondly days (and weeks!) later. Service is attentive without rushing you, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy. This is a great location to meet a friend for breakfast/lunch. I had a delicious vegetarian sandwich and she had a Benedict that looked tasty. My sandwich was fresh and unlike anything I can get elsewhere in the Augusta/Aiken area. My iced mocha was also tasty. The atmosphere is cozy with indoor and outdoor seating options. It was also pretty clean. The staff was friendly. I would absolutely go more often if I lived closer.
