The Birdnest Inn

Spent a night here recently. Melinda was amazing. We arrived in Aiken around 1000am and called to see what time we could check in and Melinda said your rooms are ready, feel free to come anytime. She was so hospital to us. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The bed was VERY comfy. We enjoyed our stay and will return. Thanks Melinda. (Pilots)

My parents and my husband & I spent the weekend at this wonderful bed & breakfast. I can’t say enough good things! The host, Melinda was amazing. I truly felt like she was our friend by the end of our stay. The home is absolutely beautiful with so many thoughtful touches. The food was fantastic. Unforgettable experience! We are already planning our next stay.

The Birdnest Inn is a fantastic place to stay in Aiken. Our host, Melinda, was most welcoming and gracious. The inn was not very busy so she upgraded us to the beautiful Mockingbird Suite on the first floor. The suite had a comfortable king-sized bed, a sitting room and a lovely bathroom with plenty of towels. Breakfasts were out of sight: fresh eggs from her chickens, quiche, fresh orange juice, fruit from the property and great coffee! We were as comfortable and happy as could be! Highly recommended!

My mother came in from out of town for a week and by good luck there was availability at the inn! The host is lovely and generous. The place is emaculate and worldly, very well kept. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay-cation or to welcome anyone from out of town! The coffee and cookies alone along with the warm hosting and gorgeous rooms makes it a winner. It’s a like A worldly museum in there! Thank you!

Melinda is the best host ever! The location is great, the rooms are perfect, amenities wonderful, food great, and snacks, and all the little things that count! Breakfast is amazing and we stay here anytime we are in aiken or august. It’s just wonderful and Melinda is just perfect!
