La Michoacana Tropical Oasis

Walking in and we were greeted with a hello and a nice smile from a nice lady. Walked into the parlor and it was clean, also smelled SO good. The gentlemen behind the counter was super polite and had fast service. We purchased a couple paletas (ice cream bars), a fruit cup with the works, and a lime/cucumber water (agua de limón). It was all delicious and fruit was fresh, can’t go wrong with stopping in for a refreshing treat!

best place in South Beloit! highly recommend for any season, their sweet and savory foods are both delicious.

I’ve been trying to find a good dessert place around here for a while. If you’ve read some of my reviews prior regarding ice cream shops in the area, haven’t been too favorable, until now. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but when you get inside, the place Has great decor, is spotless. The service is very friendly and thoughtful. New two the La Michoacana circuit And definitely will be back I ordered a Oreo shake that was done perfectly with whipped cream and a cherry on top and it ordered numerous paletas to go to keep my freezer for later occasions. Pricing is good, service is great and the food is even better. When I go back. I’m gonna try Elotes And a few other non-dessert items. Family owned family run and they care for the community. I always love homemade Mexican ice cream. Had the horchata popsicle. The man working behind the counter was very friendly and informative. Great spot to check out.
