La Michoacana Ice Cream Bar

La Michoacana is a real gem if you’re craving authentic Mexican-style ice cream outside of Texas — it truly feels like a taste of home. I tried the strawberry and mango flavors, and they were absolutely delicious. The shop offers a wide variety of ice creams and popsicles, including unique Mexican flavors you don’t usually find elsewhere. The employees are friendly and laid-back, and the service is consistently good. Prices are reasonable, parking is available, and the variety of Mexican treats and snacks makes it a fun stop. I only wish this location had a drive-thru for added convenience.

I haven't been able to find good Mexican style ice cream outside of Texas until now! La Michoacana is like a taste of home for me! I had the strawberry and mango flavors, and oh gods it was divine. Love y'all!

“I visited your store tonight at 10:00 PM, and your posted closing time is 10:30 PM. However, the employee refused to take my order and said they were only serving ice cream. I was surprised since it was still 30 minutes before closing. I hope management can clarify the closing policy and improve customer service. Thank you.”

Don’t go when the older lady or the girl with glasses are working. I’ve been here 5 times and I received excellent customer service when they aren’t there. These two are snobby and rude and the older lady will blow you off and cut the portion size of what you order. Then she leaves what you bought on the counter and hides in the back… With the girl with glasses… I ordered a Mango Preparado it’s not even filled to the top. There’s hardly any fruit, the cup is filled with ice, so much so it’s popping out over the drink. Like I said this place can be really good. Just avoid these two if you actually want good service.

Fantastic Ice cream. Variety of Mexican treats and snacks. Always nice service, reasonable prices, parking available. I only wish they offered a drive thru at this location.
