La Marque Public Library

Getting a library card was easy and the staff helped me look for the book I wanted since I couldn't find it!!!

Decent library with things for kids to play with a small array of activities. Downside is the building reminds me of a jailhouse with not a single window. Want a kid friendly, open feeling library go check out Ames, Iowa you'll see the difference. Library staff don't seem 100% sure what they have, what they don't and shelves are all over the place regarding organization. Don't mind a book hunt so not to big a deal on my end I have patience. Now what urks me wrong is how libraries are no longer a safe place for children to be. Growing up we would swing by the local library, Balaton, Minnesota, by ourselves once off the school bus, grab a few books and have a good midnight read. Now days parents have to hover and breathe fire down there childrens necks to ensure proper reading materials. I f

Our first visit today. every one was very nice and welcoming and they have some cool clubs for kids. I wish they let you check out more books, but maybe they have been burned in the past. But so far my kids like it so, we will be frequenting this library often.

It's a small town library that looks like it was built in the 70's. I used to Come in as a kid (like 10 years old) it still looks the same, nostalgic. Even their staff is the same, except for the gray hair coming in. Few people were there so no distractions. Staff was helpful. The place could use some renovations. Government bureaucracy I guess.

I love it there it gives me a place to go when I need to leave and I love there book wolf only ask if they can get more books and monga on the gay side but other than that I frequently go there I suggest this place to everyone I promise you'll have a good time and have loads of fun
