La Mariposa Mexican Restaurant

We were so impressed by how clean and beautiful this restaurant is. The lighting is lovely and the level of detail, flavors and velvety texture of the dishes were delicious. The queso had a smooth and buttery flavor and the salsa; the right amount of flavor and spice. My husband had the green chili plate and he said the meat was high quality and just fall apart good. I had the cheese enchiladas; the red sauce was some of the best that I have had. Can’t wait to go back for some more goodness!

This place was a delight! I am not from town and just looked for places to go, and we picked a gem! The staff was very accommodating and made us feel comfortable. The menu is huge, there's like three pages of margaritas: I was actually a bit overwhelmed by the paradox of choice! I had three tacos, all of which were great. The place was still adorned for Christmas, which gave it a warm and inviting aura. I would definitely come back if I am back in town!

The location is so nice and clean! Staff was very attentive. We ordered Mexican corn ribs as an appetizer which was the best. Our dinner plates came out great. The best part is it’s across the street from a river which my children and I like to walk over and take a walk before heading home! Beautiful location it’s a must try ❤️

Excellent place for a very good tasting meal. The lunch special for 14 dollars with a soda is a great deal! I had the smothered green chili burrito and it was perfect amount. My dad got the huge tamale plate. They also give military discount. Definitely coming here once a week!

I ordered the 20" burrito to take home 1/2 for my husband who couldn't be there. It was amazing and I ended up taking home more than 1/2 for him. Delicious!
