La Margarita

One of my favorite places to eat in the Fort. Never bad food and never bad service, can't recommend this enough.

Hubby & I wanted Mexican late.... like 10:30 pm.... really.... late! I called to see if the kitchen was open, they were - but they weren't taking carry - out orders that late. HOWEVER!!!! I was told that if we came in before they closed we could still order. Hubby went and ordered. Because of the closeness to closing we were limited to non-fried foods - fryer turned off for the night( please remember it was 10:30 PM!!) We were STILL totally thankful that they even would allow us to still order with hubby showing up 10 minutes before closing. We ordered the Big Al's special, and the Steak Burrito Grande. Great Mexican restaurant with a full bar and a family dining are. They also have a very large private parking lot which makes it nice so you don't have to park on the street. The service they provide is outstanding even though there are not many servers. You always have to get a margarita. My favorite is the Blue Margarita!

We stood at the door for a good 20 minutes without anyone telling us it was self seating (was a hostess so didn’t want to be rude and there was no sign) than our server didn’t even introduce herself. She barely came around to the table and the nice bus boy was the one filling our drinks, getting our requests, and being awesome. Food was not great, salsa is basically spaghetti sauce and we did not enjoy our time here. Overpriced and not worth it.

My 23$ nachos that took an hour to make and was not supposed to come served on the chips. We sat so long we had them box it up so we could take it home…. Never again but now we know
