La Gran Amazonia

My husband and I came for dinner and everything was delicious! Our waitress was so sweet and helped us with any questions we had. We had the pineapple and passion fruit cocktails and they were amazing! For our appetizer we had tostones rellennos and they were excellent so flavorful. For our entrees I had a rice dish with shrimp, chicken and pork and my husband got a shrimp dish, both wee so tasty and delicious. We will definitely be back so glad we stopped in!

La Gran Amazonia is delicious. The parking lot could use some love but once you step into La Gran Amazonia, you will truly love it! My best friend and I had a lovely dinner on Friday July 11, 2025. Our waiter was Paul from Peru and he was very knowledgeable about menu and recommendations My bestie is Ecuadorian so she was pleased with the menu, I particularly LOVE that the mine has pictures and descriptions of dishes. It also outlines the prices in cash versus credit card which is great work and in alignment with NYS law! Yay! We decided to try this restaurant last night. Very pretty inside, great happy vibe. It was busy, but we were helped right away and in a few minutes got a table. They had entertainment, and they sang so beautifully. The service was very good. Very attentive to us without making us feel rushed. We had mango and pineapple delicious fresh juices. The food was amazing. We had arroz con pollo, avocado, fried sweet banana. Steak with fried rice and eggs. Steak, white rice, beans, salad, and egg. All the dishes were so fresh and tasty. We actually were so stuffed we didn't have dessert, but their desserts looked great, too. I guess next time we have to make room for it. It's for sure a local restaurant that we recommend and will come back soon again.

Great Arroz con camarones(shrimp rice cooked in shrimp broth with mixed vegetables) plantains and avocado. Munchines( fried cassava croquettes stuffed with cheese)and served with Guadalajara sauce. Very friendly staff. Always cooked perfect and delicious. Definitely recommend as the food is a must try!!

La Gran Amazonia is absolutely delicioso! It's been a couple of days since going and I can't stop thinking about how good the food was. From the quality to the flavors and execution of every aspect of food on the plate being perfection has had me blown away. There wasn't a single thing missed in every dish that came out. I really can't get over it. I'm a first generation American, mother and father from Ecuador and some of these plates and flavor really brought me back to my childhood. But aside from that, it was just so damn good! The service was fantastic. Food came out fairly quick for being a packed house. And no mistakes which I admire. That means these folks are really putting in the work. The calamari was perfection. The cook on them was flawless. My kids devoured the plate. And
