La Gardenia

This has got to be some of the most authentic Mexican food in Texas City. The staff are really great people and we'll take care of you. I don't think you can get any better Mexican food around. Update I had the chili relano today. Excellent choice again. My buddy had the enchiladas and loved them.

Great place for a quick bite. Steam table service is the way to go if you're in a hurry and want a great hot meal to go. Their daily specials are delicious!

The lady who works the drive thru is nasty in every sense of the word. First of all she doesn't use gloves when making your food. You mess with money..just disgusting. Then she always has a rude attitude. Has for years. If you don't like your job don't work here. Food is always good but that lady is no bueno!

The food was fresh and tasty, the staff were very welcoming. We were attending the train fest at the museum and the restaurant was within walking distance. Highly recommend this restaurant.
