La Fuente Mexican Restaurant

I would have never expected to find such an amazing Mexican restaurant in southern Illinois. Food in this place is amazing! Service is awesome. It’s worth the 2 hour drive from St. Louis.

Love this place and the family atmosphere. Danny, his family, and staff are pillars of the community. The chips are hot and salsa is perfect. I love the enchiladas verde with that tangy tomatillo sauce. Burrito Faja is a huge serving and filled with deliciousness.

This is the BEST Mexican restaurant around. I live in evansville and will drive all the way from here just to eat there! The owner, danny, is a fantastic man as well and would help anyone anytime no hesitation!! The owners wife is as sweet as she can be as well!! If I could give more stars i absolutely would!!!

Possibly the best Hispanic food I've ever seen or eaten..... Crazy delicious. Huge portions, priced right. Large menu with tons of interesting appetizers, entrees, and desserts. So many great dishes to recommend..... But I'll keep it short. The Pina Rellena is a must try. Half a pineapple, stuffed with steak, chicken, bacon, ham, pineapple, and cheese..... nuff said... ( I just do the chicken, steak, pineapples and cheese) The Staff is super friendly and quick about their tasks. Brought our food fast. They were also a great helps at recommendations.💖💯

Our visit was amazing. We had a family gathering with 8 adults and 3 children. They were very accommodating. Gave us a huge table in the back with plenty of space and privacy for kids to move around and be kids. Staff was fantastic, made sure we had everything we needed and more! Definitely would go back and refer a friend to visit. Food was delicious and they offer a great variety.
