What a quaint place, has a gangster decor. We had the fish basket special. It’s huge so we share the basket which had shrimp, fish, hush puppies and a salad plus potato wedges. It goes well with their sweet ice. We ended the meal with dessert “cherry delight”. A must place to stop when traveling in the area. I am sure everything on the menu is amazing also.

Ordered a double cheeseburger and fries with a drink. Came to 23.95 with a 2 dollar tip tho I shouldnt have given her anything. Frozen burgers with no seasoning and half done fries with no seasoning at all on them. To charge that much money for food cooked with no effort put into it and the waitresses bad attitude over a 10% tip.I wouldnt support this business again.

Had biscuits and gravy, which were very delicious! (Sorry about the photo, had aleady cut my biscuits when i remembered to take a picture.) Waitress was very attentive but not overly so, allowing us to enjoy our meal. Atmosphere was classic home town diner with various local pictures, news articles, and memorabilia on the walls.

They have the best burgers in town! Highly recommend, their team and service is great. Onion rings, corn nuggets, French fries, grilled chicken salad, they have it all! Always fun to catch a glimpse of local iconic history and images of the Shelton and the Birger Gangs. A must-go for local history buffs and families.

Too salty to eat. The (chopped) sirloin steak sandwich was just not edible. The more you chewed a bite the saltier it was. The breaded chicken sandwich had more salt than I would have preferred but wasn't the choke out that the beef was. We don't eat salt free. We usually add salt so I think our perspective is pretty average.
