Customer Reviews
This place is the only Colombian spot in the area and people are stuck and have no other options. This place needs to focus on either food or convenience store. They can’t do both, with 2 females running the place and one cook. The food was ok the rice was hard this tells me it was microwaved or old as maybe 5 hours or longer. The arepas were not fully cooked and actually tasted like straight dough. The prices are insane like if I was eating at the Empire State Building. I’m sorry management but I would not recommend this place to anyone else wanting to try Colombian food. Very disappointed.
I’m so disappointed with the order of tostones, I think they call them patacones First of all it was overpriced three medium sized tostones cost four dollars They were not fresh. They were old and just totally horrible. They were frozen tostones And may have been sitting in their freezer for over a year The food is usually good. This time the customer service also gets a negative As the Taking the order had Attitude irritated I I support small businesses and Latin American businesses, but they do need to improve customer service
Poor customer service—staff very unpleasant, unprofessional, rude and unwelcoming. The food looks good in pictures, but the taste was very plain with no flavor. Very disappointing experience and would not return.
We got there at 7 pm. (1 hour before close) I asked before ordering if the kitchen was still open. Their reply was that the kitchen is open until 8 pm. (Wednesday night) THE FOOD: I ordered the Bandeja Paisa with carne asada. It comes with white rice, chorizo, 2 pieces of platano maduro, a cut of skirt steak, a cut of chicharron, one egg, and frijoles (beans). THE SERVICE: You pay when you order at the counter, and then you find a seat. The lady who took the order (she seemed to be the one in charge) lacked a little professionalism. To add, when we were done eating (7:55 pm), I went to order some arepas to go. It was another woman who said to me that the kitchen was closed. It made perfect sense since it was 5 minutes before they closed. But again, the interaction with her was less than
I used to go there because it was the closet place to get Colombian food. I ordered 24 empanadas and took them to a get together, I regret not checking them when I got them but the empanadas were hard and burnt. The worst empanadas I have ever had. So sad because I love supporting small local businesses.
