La Fogata Taqueria

I was with a large group of people and we stopped in unannounced a few days before Christmas and they were very friendly and accommodating! The service was quick and the food was delicious! My wife and I shared the molcajete and it was plenty of food for us! The spice level was on point and there was a generous amount of shrimp and other protien! All around a great experience.

Good local Mexican restaurant. Just off the beaten path but known to locals. Mining bad to say about this place. Food seems fresh, served hot. Birria tacos were definitely a hit. Tortilla gave just the right amount of pull but yet crispy with every bite. Both of me and the consume are well seasoned. Menu offers your traditional Mexican plates. Plenty of variety to choose from. Would definitely recommend. We'll definitely be coming back.

This was an unassuming place with great food! My wife got the Chicken Taco Salad, which actually had more chicken than lettuce! I had the Chicken Fajitas which came out on a sizzling skillet. It was a very large portion, with lots of flavor! This was a great find! *I failed to get pics*

My wife and I eat or take out almost once a week.That all changed as of this afternoon. The man that took my order of a super tongue burrito and my wife’s taco salad was rather rude. We usually always receive a large salsa or 2 small salsa’s. One per each meal purchased. He put one small salsa’s and when my wife went back in to get another salsa he said that is an extra charge. She walked out furiously. Over a small salsa they probably lost our business. You don’t treat weekly customers like that. Good luck with that kind of greed. This is how business lose there loyal customers.

Not the best Mexican food I’ve had, but for a small town spot it does the job just fine. Ceviche: Get Huge portion served in a giant goblet. Fresh, tangy, and loaded with shrimp and veggies. It was a lot to handle and we didn’t even finish it. Burrito: Maybe? Massive size, definitely fills you up, but the flavor was just okay. Living in SoCal has me spoiled so this didn’t quite compare. The place was pretty empty when we came in, but it was late so that probably explains it. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Food: 6/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Value: 6/10
