La Fogata Mex-Grill

I ordered the La Fogata combination plate, the food was very good. The only thing was the tostada beans were a little salty to my taste(I don't eat alot of salt, so probably why I thought this). The portions were big and I ended up taking my leftovers home. My dinning partner had the enchilada plate and she love it. Service was outstanding. Fast and friendly. Prices were pretty good. I would recommend this place if you want some good Mexican food. I will definitely be going back.

Easily the best green chili I've eaten. We have traveled a lot and tried many Mexican restaurants. Some were very upscale and others little mom and pop places. And this was in our top 5. The flour tortillas are incredible! I highly, highly, highly recommend this cute little place. It's a fun warm, no frills, friendly place. We will be back! Thanks for such a great meal and excellent service. ❤️ 💙 💜

I went because my husband and I wanted fajitas and this place had the best reviews. We were so disappointed. Very bland with no flavor and the portion was seriously a joke...especially for the price. Says it comes with guac and they give you a teaspoon if that. Beans and rice was the only ones that have good flavor but again the portion was insanely small. Still looking for a decent Mexican restaurant in Utah.

new little local place... Delicious food and the owners and staff are so friendly! The nachos are definitely big enough to share and the street tacos never disappoint!! if we ever do have to wait, it is not long! our favorite go-to for delicious Mexican nearby.

As a Texas transplant I’ve been searching for good Tex-Mex ANYWHERE in the Salt Lake area. This is where I come when I miss home. Tortillas, rice, beans…just like my favorite Taqueria in Corpus Christi. If you’re wanting California-style Mexican this is NOT for you, please go somewhere else and let us Tex Mex lovers enjoy our hidden gem!
