Great place to come for a delicious meal. You can order ahead online or you can order there. My family and I decided to order when we arrived. We got to watch the chef and his family make the order. They are fun to watch and the food smelled so amazing! We got the Carne Asada Quesadilla, Al Pastor taco, and the Mixed Fajitas (chicken & steak). Our food was excellent! We all highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and we are already going back. Proof is in the taste!! 🤤🤤

Very authentic Mexican. Food is freshly made to order. Sopes on point, gorditas on point . Tacos are awesome. Fresh Pineapple water yummmmmm. Very well recommended and family own as well so no franchise restaurant.

Absolutely amazing food! Stopped here this evening and all around great experience the atmosphere was awesome. Felt like I was friends with the owners my entire life very personable. I had steak/Chicken Quesadillas and this crazy Nacho dish, which could have fed an army. Will be eating her regularly instead of going to restaurant chains, support local 😁

We live in OIB and want everyone in Sunset Beach, OIB or in Shallotte and Calabash to know that if you’re looking for a delicious, AUTHENTIC Mexican meal … This is your place!! Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Please give them try! There’s nothing even close to real Mexican cuisine in our area. You’ll enjoy your meal as much as we did!

If you drive too fast, you'll miss it. Drive slow, because you do not want to miss this. You are greeted with typical hospitality, and the young man taking orders was eager to take our order. The kitchen is exposed, and I could see that it was very clean. No heat lamps, everything is cooked to order, fresh. We ordered a quesadilla con carne asada, 2 tacos con carne asada, and a gordida con pollo. The meats were marinated to perfection and grilled. The carne asada was very lean and had no grizzle, which most Mexican restaurants do not trim. The chicken was also cooked on the plancha, and it had that umami from being cooked on it that no other cooking method imparts. The pastry of the gordita was so flaky and delicious!
