La Famiglia Ristorante, Pizzeria & Catering Maplewood

Flew into Newark for a track meet. We ordered delivery to our hotel so can’t comment on the atmosphere. But the food was Amazing. I had the spicy shrimp pasta, hubby had lasagna and pear salad and the kids had pizza and wings. Everything was Delicious! You can tell it was not proceeded or precooked frozen food. It tasted like someone took their time with our meal. Will eat at the restaurant next time in Newark.

This place is wonderful! It has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is outstanding. There are very few spots like this left in New Jersey. It was Valentine’s Day, and even with how busy it was, they didn’t miss a beat. I don’t know the owners personally, but I truly wish the best for this business. Highly recommend!

The place was very cozy and clean. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and very well served. The owner took the time to come to our table and talk with me and my family, getting to know us a bit since we were visiting from Virginia. He was incredibly kind and even treated us to a complimentary dessert and several orders of Parmesan bread. I truly recommend this place—the food was amazing and the service was a solid 10 out of 10.
