The General Store Shops & Cafe has it all! Beautifully curated store, thoughtful and practical for customers local and visiting. When you first walk in your hit with a fresh scent of all the amazing home good (and more) products you can refill from Good Bottle. The cafe serves Paper Plane coffee and fresh pastries on a daily. Martins Pretzels bakes in the back kitchen filling an amazing aroma in the mornings. Mrs Messhuga has a rotating trendy selection of totes, shirts, stickers and the best themed holiday gifts for the Jewish community. Oh, it goes on! Tea & Tunes serves up tasty selections of premium and nostalgic teas and has an ever rotating selection of vinyl, new and old. There’s an alternative beverage vendor too, Evermore Spirts. Love my local refill shop! It helps me shop sustainably, reduce my recycling & increase my reuse of glass jars & bottles. I get all my cleaning items here. The cafe has great coffee & baked goods all from local small businesses. The pantry has great dry good Staples & fridge has all my basics eggs, milk, butter.

There’s too many reasons to stop at the General Store. Delicious, often new baked treats every week. Great coffee. Local items. Great selection of NA beverages. Refills for soaps, snacks, grains, etc. One of our absolute favorite places in Maplewood.

They make wonderful chai and have delicious goodies. You can get all sorts of good things here! Need laundry detergent or dried bananas? I love that this shop is within walking distance to my home.
