La Esperanza Bakery

We came here around June or July. I tell you out of all the places I tried in Gadsden in Mexican food, I believe this was truly authentic Mexican food. We sat outside of the store nearby where they had a canopy installed adjacent to the store, and they would do tacos outside in their cooking stoves. We received our tacos nicely hot. They also provide lunch inside their store where they have a deli in the back. They do smoked chicken with some sides that go along with it which I find interesting. The store itself sells brand products where you may not find elsewhere that I have tried before in the past. We see their store bakery amazing from the different pastries they make. Their desserts are very tasty and I recommend anyone trying it. At times anyone can forget to come here from the dist

Best Bread and cake bakery on sand mountain even have great 🌮 next door 🚪 if I didn't kno any better. I'd think Kilpatrick has been Little Mexico strip almost as far back as 🐎 and buggy love it or leave it

This is such a fun place!! The seating and everything is outside but under a roof. It's a very nice atmosphere. Everyone was very nice. I ordered the carnita tacos, the way they make the tortillas is so good! Crisp on the outside and softer in the center. Excellent!! The carnitas were soft and flavorful with a little of the grease. Topped with cilantro and onions and sprinkled with lime juice is the way to go. They give you a variety of sauces to use, each one is very good. I also ordered the horchata, they have fresh fruit drinks and sodas. Definitely check them out and look in the store after for fresh breads, and other groceries!! A great way to end the meal!!

La Esperanza Bakery is clean. The photos of the cakes in the front of the building look delicious. The Bakery section has warm goodies to eat.
