La Cocina

One of the best spots to go right now! With high prices all around I find La Cocina to be superior when it comes to affordable prices with meals. Large potion sizes (no scrimping), fair prices, great quality in the food! I appreciate the homemade salsa a ton. Keep up the good work, these people are doing everything right! I’ve ordered from here around 10 times now. Will highly recommend to give them a shot 🙏

La Cocina was an interesting experience for us. The place itself still appears to be undergoing renovations from the old Outback look. Point being if you know it was an Outback, despite the decorations you feel like you're in an Outback. No biggie though overall. The service was the most disappointing. Not because anyone was rude or anything of that nature. Our server seemed to be running around to all the tables doing his best while there also appeared to be a bunch of other employees just standing around. Because he was so busy things just seemed to take longer than usual, especially for a restaurant that wasn't even half full at the time. We at one point asked one of those employees for extra napkins and we never got any until we got up and got them ourselves. So unfortunately, it was h

Great food, good service in a nice friendly atmosphere. In town visiting for work I stayed at the Hampton Inn next door so decided to check them out. There werent many people there when we first walked in but quickly a nice crowd came in behind us. It didn’t take long at to place our order and be served. Pleasantly surprised by the large portion sizes. As much as I wanted to eat it all, it was very filling and tasty. Highly recommend, they even give you chips and salsa while you wait!

Good food. Lots of options and free chips and salsa when you sit down. The menu is pretty extensive and includes a very nice kid’s menu. I’m very impressed with the size of the burritos. The chimichanga was really good as well. My flan was was perfect and the fried ice cream was outstanding. Nothing too spicy so both my wife and grandson had a great meal. The service was ok. Our server was nice but had to wait a long time for drink refills. They don’t yet have a liquor license so no alcohol at all.

We went to the rte 31 clay ny restaurant on 6/21/25, we ordered shrimp and beef tacos. The food was hot and tasted fantastic. The service was good but something they have to improve on. the place was not that busy as it was lunch. we were over charged on the beef tacos but the waitress did fix it . I would go back but not many things I could eat on menu due to diet issues. lunch was 20.00 and 30.00 total 50.00 drink were 7.98. it was just the two of us.
