La Cocina Del Coqui Restaurant

Cool place with good food. Staff were friendly and attentive. Had the yuca fries that were tasty. The mofongo was good but dry…and was a bit off. I think they add pork rinds from a bag. Not sure but that what it tasted like. The Cuban sandwich was decent as well. Although I didn’t love it, I would go back to try some of the other stuff on the menu. Also be aware…no restroom.

I can’t even begin to describe how good this food is. The Cuban sandwich is on point! The plantains are awesome. What makes it even better is that it’s a vet owned business. What makes it even more sweeter is that it’s a fellow boricuq devil dolphin. We will be back.

A little taste of home away from home... This is mostly a take-out location, food is delicious and fresh and well prepared. Staff was helpful with the menu and the service beyond expectations. If you enjoy Puertoriquen / Caribbean foods give La Cocina Del Coqui a try, you won't regret it. Hope your experience here will be as incredible and delicious as mine.

The food was delicious, the steak in the tacos was marinated very well. The empanada was also good, but I wasn't sure what to expect so it blew what I imagined out of the water! The pricing is fair and the portion sizes are large. But there are only 6 seats in the place.
