La Chiquita Authentic Mexican Food

This was our first visit here and my whole party of avid Mexican food lovers was absolutely amazed at the food the portions the staff, just the whole experience. Everyone was sitting trying there food and just insisting that everyone else at the table had to try it as it was just that good, too good to explain, too good to believe that every dish was just good. The flavor explosions of every dish, perfect mis of all your favorite flavors! if every other Mexican restaurant was graded on a curve they all just lost points and dropped a grade to this place. Drinks stayed full the entire time. The staff was extremely personable and very willing to answer questions and get what ever we needed. The Salsa!!! You could drink the salsa they bring you with the chips. The place was busy when we arrived. Our party of 3 was seated immediately. Our patient waiter kept our drink glasses full. He brought out our food quickly, didnt hover over us. And cleared our plates as we emptied them. Great atmosphere. Not too loud, but inviting and positive. I had a shrimp plate, cant remember the name, however it was perfectly cooked. Sometimes places will over cook shrimp, turning them into pieces of rubber. Not this place! Fantastic food quality of preparation and cooking. Pur table was clean, as well as our silverware. Glasses had no spots on them. Every staff member that I saw, had very clean hands. I ordered through Uber Eats and was pretty disappointed this time around. Usually, my food from here is always good and accurate, which is why this stood out. I ordered the fajita nachos, but they came without the peppers, so they looked and tasted pretty plain. I also didn’t receive the ranch that was supposed to come with my chicken wings. I know these aren’t huge issues, but when you’re paying for specific items, you expect everything to be included and prepared as described. Hoping this was just an off day because I normally have great experiences here.

I reserved the patio on 10/7 for Friday night 10/10/25 at 7:30pm for my husband’s surprise birthday party. They had 3 days to be readily staffed and able to handle a party of 20. That unfortunately was not the case. They sat us but did not give us any silverware. Another party came in and were seated and given silverware and taken care of immediately. We waited for drinks, waited quite some time to even get cheese dip. Finally were able to order and still didn’t have silverware when our food came. Then when asked again (five or six times asking) we were brought out to-go plastic ware. Steak items and things do not cut with plastic! Some people weren’t even able to eat their food at all. Came last minute for my mom's birthday. They accommodated my food allergies and had no problem with our service animal. The food portions were HUGE and we ended up taking a lot home. They were friendly and the food was delicious. I would definitely come again.
