Young's Bbq

We loved our visit to Young’s! The chopped pork platter was delicious and came with generous portions of Brunswick stew, baked beans, and slaw—everything was full of flavor. Both the mild and hot BBQ sauces were fantastic, and the iced tea hit the spot. The owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable, which made the experience even better. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This resturant is only 6 miles from my house, but for some reason it has flown under my radar for the past 11 years...until today. I was in the mood for BBQ so I picked up my trusty Google machine and searched, "BBQ restaurants near me" and there it was! I'm pretty sure I heard angels singing in the background. I live in the boonies. It takes me 20-25 minutes to get to the nearest grocery store. So, to have a BBQ place that close to me kinda blew my mind. I called my order in so I could pick it up and eat at home. Then I loaded Lulu (the best Labrador Retriever in the world) in the car and off we went. Friendliest people around! Bbq sandwich was delicious and the hot sauce was perfect. Food came out quick and hot. Great little restaurant. Will stop by again if I'm in the area.
