La Charla Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I are from out of town and we came here looking for some gluten-free food that was safe for him due to his celiac disease and let me tell you I'm so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was wonderful! One of the waitresses even offered to take a photo of us! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stop in!

The food was amazing and the service was great! I got a Birria quesadilla and it was delicious. Arleth was our server, she was amazing and so sweet! She was so attentive!

Our favorite local Mexican restaurant, we love all facets! The food is on point and unique. The margaritas are delish. The salsa, the guac? Chef’s kiss 😘 We’ve always had terrific service (much love for all, special shout out to Pepe!), the atmosphere is just our style, and we bring all our friends/fam/out of towners in 😁

We ordered a vegetarian torta, which in the past has consistently come as a chile relleno torta. We noticed the carnitas torta is listed at $15, so we were surprised to find that our vegetarian torta—after a short 7-minute ride home—cost $24 and arrived as a soggy, greasy mess that was completely inedible. It is unacceptable to charge a $10 premium for a sandwich with no meat, minimal vegetables, and no real substance. It’s hard to understand how something in that condition was allowed to leave the kitchen, let alone be priced at $24. To make matters worse, the automatic tip brought our total for just two sandwiches to nearly $63. This entire experience was incredibly disappointing.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Tried many in town, this is one of the best! Love the mole and especially the frozen mango margs. The staff is so kind and the portions are great. The best!
