LA CASA DEL TAMAL

We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly and fast. Food: to say the least the portions were surprisingly large. We ordered 5 tacos and a quesadilla on a corn tortilla. I swear it seemed like there was an entire steak on the quesadilla, the tacos were heavily loaded as well. The food was made to order and delicious. I would recommend trying them if you haven’t for 34 dollars that was a great result. Will be visiting again to try more.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Birria tacos and steak burrito were top tier. Outside looks kind of sketch, but the inside is actually decent. Will be back in the future.

Service was great, very friendly. Very attentive. The pozole was delicious! Definitely going back!

Super good, fresh VEG and really well cooked meat and beans. Will return again for sure!

Don't pass this place up. First time trying it and it was fantastic. The salsa was soooo good, and the guac was prepared fresh. The pork tamales were very, very good. The steak tacos and burrito were some of the best we have had, and we're from Chicago, recently moved to Elkhart. The service was great. We found our new restaurant for that authentic meal.
