La Carreta Mexican Restaurant

Food and drinks were amazing, si was our server! Only thing that didn't taste great was the tap water, so maybe order a soda or tea instead and wait til you get home or buy a bottled water for that serving of water you drink with a meal. I was late coming to restaurant so my water tasted fine but the 2 friends who earlier had funny tasting water. Was very strange. Our dishes and glasses were very clean. We have eaten here before with 0 incident so this was a 1st. Our server was amazing and super accommodating. I accidentally order a dish that had shrimp in it (allergic to shellfish) and they immediately took it away and brought menu out to me again without making me pay for the dish. I of course was going to offer to pay and let a friend take it home to not waste food, but a friend beat me

We moved into the area recently and were looking for a good Mexican restaurant. The very 1st time ate here... it was excellent. The 2nd time we ate there we thought it was absolutely wretched. What was so frustrating is that we ordered exactly the same thing we ordered the 1st time around. So we're still looking for our regular "go to" Mexican restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food; service was good and the staff were friendly. A few of us have food sensitivities and they where very helpful in helping us find food we could eat from the menu.

Had a great experience at this restaurant, the customer service was fast and the food was good. Very kind servers and staff. I ordered the carne asada and a mango Jarritos, I also ordered the Chamango which was incredibly strong - they definitely don’t water down their drinks but for me that’s a good thing haha, I will say there weren’t any interior garnish like it showed in the menu but the drink was so strong I didn’t even notice. 10/10 recommend!!

So im currently working the east coast. Not happy because winter is showing its ugly head. So we googled restaurants near us and found this place 3 minutes from the hotel. The standard chips and salsa greet you at the table and the chips were fresh out the fryer, the salsa tastes like it was made minutes before it was served. I had the carnival plate. This doesn't get any fresher unless you pull up to your abuelitas house. I have had Mexican food all over the United States to include California. Hands down this is one of the best places I have eaten at. I can't point out 1 thing I was dissatisfied with. Definitely on my coming back to if I get a chance list.
