La Campagnola

We’ve ate here a few times now and ordered to go a few times now. Each time does not disappoint. The food is delicious and flavorful. Their chicken parm has spoiled us and we cannot eat it any other place now! Their veal Alla Lucca is amazing and my favorite dish! We did the family dinner and it was plenty for our family and prepared neatly and organized and had the same delicious flavor.

My partner and I had v-day dinner last night here, and he found it based on his search for jersey’s best Italian places. We love Italian, like LOVEE. We travel to find and dine in at the best places possible and La Campagnola was an incredible experience. No one asked me to write this, insisted or hinted at it nonetheless. I’m eating my left over chicken alla vodka as I’m writing this. My partner made a reservation, we were quickly seated and served all night. Our waiter and his assist were so delightful and sweet! He made us laugh all night. Such great service, we really appreciated it. My partner had their steak and vegetables, cooked to perfect medium rare, and I the chicken all vodka with blush sauce. Was recommended by my husband’s cousin to come here for our anniversary dinner and I am SO GLAD we came. Our server was a delight. The girl assisting the server was sweet, the bus boys were sweet. The entire experience was a 10. The food was honestly perfect. From the appetizer, to the soup, the vegetables, to the entree. Phenomenal. Will definitely come back.

This place is consistently superb. The staff is always welcoming. I have enjoyed a few meals here and was never disappointed. I LOVE their horseradish sauce. (So if you don’t order a prime rib sandwich, try it with the green bean appetizer.). And the crab cake sandwich reminded me of Key West. All lump crab:) Specialty drinks are made with care too. I enjoyed their spicy margarita! Shout out to Nick, the bartender.

La Campagnola - Shamong - Returned for some more delicious food, great vibes, live music! The chef select garlic steak was delicious. As was the bone in Delmonico (ribeye). Once again they impressed me from the food and service! #italian #steak #livemusic #hashtagstevej
