La Cabana Restaurant

Some things I'd recommend are the tomatillo/arbol salsa, the chicken enchilada, and the chorizo taco. The imported candy by the register is a fun addition too! Price point was great tho. 2 meals, queso, 2 drinks, and some candy came up to 40 bucks. P.S. The ladies working were awesome, don't forget to leave them a big tip next time you go!

We all know I don't hand out 5 stars. So let's get started! This little restaurant is so inviting from the minute you walk in til the last bite. U have the atmosphere of a mariachi event on the walls and coming from the speakers in the back; to the unique photos and pictures on the wall. My husband and I had complimentary chips and dip, ofc I got queso, then we ordered. My husband had the beef chimichanga, with Mexican rice and refried beans topped with cheese. He did have to order a side of sour cream as the small lettuce salad does not come with this meal. As guys say uhh. Good!! LOL! No really, he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We moved from McAlester, but when we get back, this is our #1 place to go. Delicious, fast service, and excellent staff who have become our friends!!!

What an amazing Mexican restaurant for the area of mcalester. I was able to get a giant burrito smothered with chili and loaded with chicken and cheese. Definitely recommend this establishment to everyone.
