La Baguette Worcester & Caribbean Restaurant

I got 25 chicken wings, 2 dozen Haitian meat pies, a rice and beans platter, and two big sodas for a fair price. The chicken was seasoned very well and fully cooked, the rice and beans was also very delicious and a great pairing with chicken wings. The star of the show were the chicken meat pies, they were very crispy, flakey and the filling was seasoned well with real chicken. I got this food for an event I was hosting and everyone loved the food and it’s a local mom and pop. Like any Carribbean/ Latine restaurant that makes their food to order make sure to call ahead to order and arrive early or on time for pick up for best results. Iykyk

Absolutely amazing food. The only issue I’ve experienced is with the woman who answers the phone and takes orders. She makes the ordering process unnecessarily complicated and lacks basic customer service etiquette. I am not Haitian and do not speak Creole, and because I did not use the Creole terminology for plantains, I was initially told they were not available. Moments later, they were said to be available—but only when referred to in Creole. Because I didn’t use the Creole term, I almost did not receive them, despite clearly asking for plantains in English. She also asked when I would be picking up the food before telling me when it would be ready, which added to the confusion. Amazing! I’ve been twice so far and have gotten a dozen of the pâté which includes a different variety of chicken, beef, and fish. If you haven’t tried this place out, you will not regret.

Absolutely Outstanding Haitian Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, I knew I was in for something special. My husband and I were greeted by the beautiful chef Mima, whose smile can warm anyone’s heart! The aroma alone felt like a warm welcome straight from the islands! Every dish was bursting with authentic Haitian flavor — rich, bold, perfectly seasoned, and made with so much heart… I literally teared up while eating! The griot was tender and crispy in all the right ways, the pikliz had the perfect kick, and the rice and beans were so flavorful they could stand on their own. The lambi and kabrit were amazing!!! The food is delicious. I am so happy the city has Haitian food. However I called 30 minutes ahead and was told to come pick up my food at 12:00pm then I come in and my food isn’t ready. They look at me like I’m crazy even though they took my name down and everything during the order. This has happen more than once. The service needs to improve. Write the customer’s name and phone number then call them when the food is ready. It will save people from waiting longer
