Kyuramen - Winchester

The restaurant is well known for its ramen, but I decided to try the omurice since it’s one of my favorite Japanese comfort dishes. The egg was almost perfect—soft, fluffy, and creamy inside, which I really appreciated. However, the rice was a bit different from the omurice I’ve had in Japan. It’s usually made with simple fried rice, ketchup rice, or sometimes demi-glace sauce, but the rice here tasted more like Chinese-style fried rice with spices. It wasn’t bad, just not what I expected from omurice. My son ordered the beef and pork skewers, but unfortunately they were a bit tough and dry, and the flavor was quite mild. That said, the interior of the restaurant was nice and the service was friendly and attentive.

This was my first time there and my boyfriend and I went on a busy Saturday evening so it was a bit hectic at first. The parking was kind of hard to find considering it’s all street parking in a busy area, but we got a good spot and the area is really walkable which is nice. We were on the waitlist for a table for about an hour but we were seated quickly when it was our turn. The service was pretty good considering the amount of people in and out of the restaurant. There’s also so much on the menu I wanted everything! We went with the popcorn chicken, pork bao, tokio spicy ramen, and creamy udon. I really appreciated how fast everything came and how good the food quality is. The ramen broth was sooo yummy and the creamy udon was amazing. I definitely will be back!

Came across this place on social media and finally got the chance to visit on Valentine’s Day. Glad I joined the wait list online prior to heading there because they were pretty busy on this day. We were seated in one of the private booths and what an excellent experience! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The ramen was delicious and you get a generous portion. The gyoza was the best I’ve ever had! Loved the concept of getting a combo meal (app,ramen,Thai tea, and dessert). To top off our experience, they took a Polaroid picture of us and gave us each a rose 💗. Will definitely return and try other items in the menu.

Very solid food. Cute interior and fairly fast (20min) to get a seat during Friday lunchtime. The chicken ramen and tonkatsu are flavorful, not too salty or oily. Have tasty condiments to add like sauerkraut pepper. Purple sweet potato fries have a good crunch and accompanied by sweet spicy mayo if you want a sauce. Egg is cooked well in the omurice and a tasty demi glacé which the waitress recommended as her fave sauce. Only thing we did not like was the lobster charsu ball because it was too salty. Otherwise it would have been a really good dish as well. Would recommend coming here. They have a cute honeycomb seating for photo op.

We were greeted by sweet Karen, what amazing staff, great atmosphere, and hardworking staff!! Food was Top Notch!! The drinks were so refreshing, and so much food I had to take it to go!! Very well priced for the amount of food and great service you get! I recommend you call ahead for seating, I will definitely return. The Honeycomb seating and setup is aesthetically pleasing Bravo Kyuramen!!
