Kusshi Reston Town Center

Went to KUSHI this Saturday night and had an amazing time. I usually regular their Tysons corner location, but I’m so happy that there is a new location closer to me. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous with ambient lighting and great atmosphere. Our server Jordan C. was so personable and pleasant, and always said my pleasure and absolutely sealed the deal with our dining experience. I will 100% be coming back at least once a week or until I get tired of sushi. The Wagyu fried rice was phenomenal and as per usual, the seared fatty tuna nigiri was out of this world. The cocktails were fantastic, very interesting and unique. If you get the paper crane cocktail, it comes with a miniature paper crane origami, which is so cute!

Excellent service from Jordan, he was so kind and cheerful and made our experience fantastic! Salmon teriyaki was very fresh, lunch deals were good and the ramen was splendid as well. Will be back soon- glad there’s a new sushi place here, it’s what we needed!!

The Reston location has to be one of the top sushi places in the metro DC area, hands down. The quality of each sashimi piece was the best we’ve had in the region. The seared fatty salmon app is probably one of their most popular dishes - and it melts like butter. The staff is highly knowledgeable, and bend over backwards to ensure everything is tip top.

My husband and I came in here on a Wednesday evening around 1730. We had a great experience, we sat at the bar and were serviced Minh and Hannah. We ordered the Chicken Karaage, Shrimp Shumai, Spicy Salmon Rill, Firecracker Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and the Baltimore Roll with various cocktails. Everything came out great and the portion was generous. I recommend this sushi bar for the RTC area for sure. The happy hour is from 1530-1800 which fits very well with other RTC happy hours!

I ordered takeout from Kusshi Sushi and honestly this place is legit. I live about 20 minutes away, so I expected things to be lukewarm or soggy by the time I got home… but nope.
