Kushi Indian Restaurant

This is my go-to place any more for Indian food. This is not for date night. The decor is non existent and the "hole in the wall" patina is not very impressing. But the food more than makes up for it. Quick bite, boys time, take out....this is it! From biryani, to curries, to naan, everything tastes delicious. The chai is fantastic too. They have take away desserts and those are superb as well. If you order a family pack/mega pack, it comes with an appetizer, dessert and a soda. The value of money is unbeatable. Overall, don't judge a book by it's cover and go experience Kushi 😉

I had the best, super juicy chicken mandi at Kushi Restaurant today. The chicken was really tasty and full of flavor😋. Honestly, I feel like the taste has changed a lot 💯compared to the last time I ate their mandi last month. I highly recommend the mandi, it’s the best in the overland park

The prices written on the menu often do not match the prices charged at checkout, and this has happened many times, not just once. Whenever I ask about it, the answer is always the same: “The prices were changed recently, sorry, we will update the menu soon.” Sometimes they say the old price was part of a promotion and they forgot to change the menu. When this keeps happening again and again, it feels very unfair. One night experience really affected me. I went late and carried only the exact cash according to the menu prices. At billing time, they suddenly said the total was $1 more. In that moment, I felt embarrassed and stuck. I couldn’t say, “I don’t have one more dollar.” Apple Pay saved me, but I keep thinking — what if I didn’t have Apple Pay? What would I have done? If they had

This was a self service restaurant, we were group of 7, we ordered chicken biryani, kushi spl chicken appetizer, karampodi chicken, goat biryani, chicken curry and naan basket. The portions were small but the taste was good. We ordered spicy and I got too many chillis in the biryani, I wasn’t expecting chillis but otherwise the food was really good. I know it’s a self service restaurant but they should have checked if our tables were clean or not( they weren’t).

One of the best meals I've ever had! The food was cooked to perfection just like indian meal taste, and bursting with flavor. The dessert especially (jilebi, rasmalai) selection complemented the meal beautifully. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate about the food. An unforgettable experience! Cant wait to visit this again
