We just ate here tonight. By far some of the best food we’ve ever had. I had the cheeseburger combo and man it was excellent. Cooked to perfection. He had the chicken quesadilla and it too was excellent. For dessert after not being able to make up our minds we got the apple pie, chocolate pie and the banana pudding. All three were delicious. We will be going back soon and bringing friends with us. Sorry I forgot to take pictures. I’m doing something I don’t normally do and giving everything a 10/10.

I finally got around to trying KirkDaddy’s pork pit. KurtDaddy’s is about 11 miles north of Cookeville courthouse straight up Washington Ave (AKA Hwy136 or Standing Stone Hwy). Well worth the 15 minute drive. My wife had the catfish. It was moist, tender with a nice light coating. She also got mustard potato salad. She says it taste just like grandma’s and that’s a good thing. I’m 70 and it’s only the third time I’ve had pork shoulder. Hey I’ve only been in the south for six years. It had a very nice flavor to it, it was delicious. Also I got a generous portion of baked beans and onion rings. Both were very good. If y’all want the best pork shoulder or pulled pork sandwich or anything else on the menu then you better get your butt into Kurt Daddy’s! Always amazing food, service and atmosphere. This young man has done an outstanding job by opening up this restaurant. Everything is amazing that’s on the menu! God bless!
