Kura is honestly such a fun experience! The revolving sushi concept makes it feel exciting from the second you sit down, & everything I tried was super fresh and tasty. I love that you can grab whatever catches your eye or place a special order on the screen and it shows up right in front of you. The prices are really reasonable for the quality, and the little prize game after a certain number of plates makes it even more fun. The staff was kind and attentive, and the whole place just had a lively, upbeat energy. It is the perfect spot whether you are going with friends, family, or even just treating yourself.

Since my other favorite revolving sushi bar closed, I have been to Kura a few times instead, and I have had good experiences. Plan ahead to park in the garage and walk over. The app is great, and making a reservation ahead of time is easy and definitely recommended. The food is good and the atmosphere is fun. My biggest issue with Kura vs my old favorite place is that Kura does not separate the dishes based on price. I paid the same price (over $4) for a cup of watermelon as a big sushi roll. The physical plates even look different, so I'm not sure why they can't price them differently. I didn't even eat very much and ended up paying over $60 just for me as one person eating lunch. It's a great place with yummy food, but keep the prices in your head as you pick plates or you'll be stressed

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this sushi spot! My colleague and I sat at the bar and had the pleasure of interacting directly with the chef, who was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. He recommended we try the Omakase set — and what a great decision that was! Each dish was prepared right in front of us with precision and care, and the chef took the time to explain every piece, from the type of fish to the preparation style. The variety and quality of the sushi were outstanding — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was more than just dinner; it felt like a curated experience. We truly had a great time and will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch sushi and an authentic, engaging dining experience!

I loved the concept of revolving sushi! I brought my gf for her birthday. Even as someone who doesn’t like sushi, there were lots of options for me. We loved that after 15 plates you get a prize too

Kura Sushi is part of a franchise of revolving sushi quick service restaurants expanding across the Boston area. There isn’t much seating outside and the line can get a bit long, so during rain it might be a wise idea to wait in your car. Luckily, since it's in Arsenal Yards, you can explore around and find places to go to. They have a waitlist option so its easy to get notified when your table is ready. The food is good. Quality of the sushi is top notch and the variety is good. You can either grab it off the revolving belt, or order it straight to your table. I’d say ordering it to the table is better, since the placement of your table along the belt may result in the trays being empty by the time it arrives. There’s typically only 2 of each dish on the belt as well, so this happened c
