I got the halal spiced chicken and rice and it was truly a 10/10! The chicken was well spiced, the rice was fluffy, and overall the ingredients tasted very fresh. Their sauces on this bowl were both delicious as well and, I didn’t see this option on the menu but, if there was any way I could get an extra container of their sauce on the side next time, I would!!

I have been getting my lunch from this amazing place. My go-to order is Cilantro Ranch spiced chicken and rice. The flavor is so deliciously good that it's worth eating once a week. Plus, the chef is very friendly and has crafted a way to keep the consistency of the food on point.

Ordered the halal spiced chicken rice bowl. The chicken had some heat to it which was unexpected but good overall (tender & juicy too). My only gripe is the portion of the chicken. The bowl is like 30% salad, 20% chicken and 50% rice.

I’ve eaten here once or twice a week for the past year… I’m obsessed. Tru Foods has the best chicken and rice bowls in Boston, and so many amazing sandwiches and wraps as well. Plus, the owner Sam is amazing! Very welcoming, kind, and makes some killer food.
