The selection of meats and fresh ingredients for both the BBQ and Hot Pot is impressive, but what truly made our night was the service. Our server, Dereck, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with ease. His personable energy made us feel right at home despite the busy atmosphere. It’s rare to find someone who balances professional expertise with such a genuine, welcoming attitude. If you’re looking for great food and a seamless dining experience, ask for Dereck. We will definitely be back!

We got the combo with BBQ and hot pot. I went with the Japanese miso soup, and my husband had the spicy Korean seafood one. Both tasted great. Fresh meat, fresh seafood, and plenty of appetizers to choose from. Service was fast, and the server was super friendly with good recommendations.

We came here for a post-concert celebration with my niece and showed up close to last seating — the kind of moment where some restaurants make you feel like an inconvenience. Not here. The staff welcomed us enthusiastically and gave us the full experience without a hint of rushing. We opted for both hot pot and Korean BBQ, and while it’s on the pricier side, you’re paying for an experience as much as a meal — and it delivers. Having lived in China, Taiwan, and Korea, I was impressed by how authentic it felt. The variety of meats, seafood, tofu, mushrooms, and unique vegetables was outstanding, and the sauce bar is the true win. Get creative, mix and match — that’s where the real flavor adventure begins. If I could afford it, I’d eat here multiple times a week. This is my favorite Korean barbecue place in the Salt Lake Valley area. They’ve got excellent service full bar set up. Lots of great food options plus they’ve got the hot pot. Always love coming here.

I’ve been a loyal customer at KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot every two weeks since moving to Utah. Birthdays, Valentine’s, family visits I bring everyone here because it’s always been amazing. Until tonight… From the moment we sat down, we could tell something was off. Our waiter handed us waters and then vanished. We waited 10 minutes just to let him know we were doing both barbecue and hot pot. When he did come back, he forgot to oil the grill, again another 15 minutes, comes by before we see him again. Then he disappeared again. The most frustrating part? The repeated apologies. We received at least three separate “thank you for your patience” comments because he kept forgetting basic things. When our pan needed to be changed, we had to track him down again, only to wait another ten minute
