KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

My partner and I have been to lots of K-Pot locations, and Hamden is by far our favorite! We have been visiting regularly for close to a year now, and every visit has been great. We love the huge screen playing music videos, the cleanliness, and the service! Today we had Debbe as our waitress and she was fantastic! Our drinks were always refilled quickly and everything we ordered was delivered fast. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We visited BBQ Café and were very pleased! We really liked the concept of the place — two hours to grill and enjoy everything you order is such a great idea. The service was attentive, and the interior was cozy and welcoming. And of course, as good hosts, we grilled ourselves some delicious food and truly enjoyed the whole experience. A wonderful place, and we’ll definitely come back again!

Second time at a Kpot location, this one in Hamden stands out. Good food, clean space and service from our server Katie was top notch. I will be back soon

We usually love this place, but tonight’s experience wasn’t the best when it came to service. My fiancé and I were not given bowls or ladles for our hotpot. When we asked our server, she told us to grab plastic spoons from the buffet area and said she would bring us spoons once some were clean. We were understanding since it was a busy Saturday night, but we noticed that everyone around us had the proper utensils. We ended up asking another server, and they brought us ladles right away. When we asked for bowls, we were initially given small bowls from the buffet area. After asking a different waitress again, she quickly brought us clean bowls from the kitchen. My wife and I went to Kpot in Hamden for a night out without the kids, and we had a great experience! The food was very good — we did both the hot pot and the Korean BBQ, and everything we tried was delicious. We were total rookies and didn’t totally know what we were doing, but our waitress, May, was absolutely fantastic. She patiently walked us through the process, helped explain things, and was super attentive the whole time. She even switched out our grill plate multiple times without us having to ask. The sauce station had a great variety, and the overall vibe of the place was really fun. The music was definitely on the louder side, but it was catchy and added to the upbeat atmosphere.
