Koto Hibachi Asian Bistro & Bar

My boyfriend and I came to Koto and enjoyed our food. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to sesame and could not enjoy the full hibachi experience. This was very, very sad. However, they were able to make my dish in the back for me and it was extremely yummy. My boyfriend was able to watch his food cooked in front of him. He and I had our mouths squirted in by the chef with his special sake. I think it was pink lemonade 😉

I brought a large group to this restaurant this evening. They were very accommodating reserving a table for us but unfortunately I didn't like the tofu that was added to my hibachi meal. It was tasteless and squishy.... no flavor at all. Too bad. Everyone else enjoyed their good. When we were finished with our meals, no dessert was even offered because there was a big birthday party that they needed our table for. We all felt rushed, checks came out too quickly.... some of us might have actually ordered dessert!

We were a party of six and I must say that we enjoyed our dining experience from start to finish. The staff was polite, patient and professional. The drinks in my opinion were excellent but a bit strong for my wife. Her first two drinks were not to her liking. The waitress took them back without question. The third drink was spot on. The atmosphere was quiet and refreshing. We were able to enjoy conversations across the table without loud music piercing our brains. The chef came to our table and everything was cooked to perfection. If you have not tried Koto Hibachi on 22. You owe it to yourself to come on down. I don’t think that you or your guests will be disappointed.

Everything was good but the drinks were a bit watery, barely any rum in my rum and coke and the others at our table said their drinks didn't have much alcohol in them. The chairs also need some sort of rubber on the legs or something because when they're moved across the floor it makes a terrible noise. The food was good, nice portions, and the service was good too.

First time visit. It was a really nice experience, our first time dining at a hibachi restaurant. The chef kept us entertained throughout, and the ambiance was great. The price and portion sizes were reasonable. However, the staff seemed hurried and not very friendly. The food tasted average. Definitely recommend for those wanting to try hibachi for the first time.
