Koko’s Sandwich Bar

We ordered Koko boxes with a Saffron’s Turkey with a garden salad and a Jethro Smoked Salmon with Caldo Verde soup, a tea of the day, a Ginger Meow Juice, and chocolate almond cookies. Also we had Koko’s potato salad. It’s all real food with no ultra processed food ingredients. The turkey was roasted turkey, which was then shredded for the sandwich. It was not deli meat. The salmon sandwich was nicely balanced with flavors. Nothing overpowered another ingredient. The soup was smooth and wholesome with an amazing flavor. The potato salad had other veggies such as beats and carrots that gave it a really fresh taste and not too heavy. We really enjoyed everything we got and plan on going again.

This is such a cool little spot. We ordered the carne burrito and it was delicious. Great music and vibes.

I am just delighted that I happened to be in Damariscotta for work yesterday because I drove by a black cat themed sandwich place and decided to have lunch there, and boy was it DELICIOUS. Immediate green flag was when I asked the woman at the register (I forgot to ask her name, but she was lovely) what she recommended and she put real thought into it. She didn’t even have to upsell me on a drink or a side because I was hooked already with just how friendly she was. I ended up getting the red snapper sandwich and a side of potato salad and neither disappointed. My only regret was that I ordered my sandwich to-go when I should’ve enjoyed their dining area more and stayed a minute. I will certainly be back next time I’m in town!

The most delicious sandwich spot I have been to in a hot minute. Flavors are on point! Quality and quantity also on point! Had the chicken souvlaki sandwich and my sister had the lobster on a croissant. Both were next level in the best way possible!!! Will definitely be stopping here more often when in town! Let’s not forget the friendly and accommodating staff!!!

The food at this restaurant is amazing! Every sandwich we've ever had was perfect, and we've tried most of them at this point. The chef is very skilled, and flavors everything so well. This is also the only place in town to get tacos, and boy are they good. Also, they just started serving dinner (tapas night) on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and we had an incredible meal there last night. The ceviche was the best I've ever had. You can't go wrong here.
