Kirtland Public Library

This is a wonderful library. It's filled with kind workers and amazing resources! Many areas to read and relax, lots of books, a printer, and movies! 'Story time' with your little ones every week is a huge bonus. They also have so many events for adults and children all year around!

The children’s librarians here are absolutely phenomenal!!!. They are so knowledgeable and so quick to help the kids. There’s a bunch of little activities for the kids to do throughout the library, too!. I don’t have much experience with the adult librarians as much to say.

The women working here were fairly rude and unhelpful when I asked about first-time passport information. I went in person and had to call twice afterward to get all of the information I needed because they refused to freely offer it. The only information offered up was to use black ink... I had to beg for answers and they treated me like I was an idiot. Unsure if it was because of my tattoos or something else, but I wouldn't recommend "outsiders" visit this place; I am not from this area and they were extremely unwelcoming. Very disappointed and a little hurt by this. Twenty minutes after making it, I cancelled my appointment with them due to the judgement I received for simply existing in a public space. I will take my money somewhere other than the Kirtland Public Library. To say the l

I really like this library. Quiet, good place to work/study. Friendly staff. I live in Mentor, and go to this library because it's a pleasant, quiet environment.

I really love Kirtland Public Library. Besides getting great reading materials. They offer fun classes, and informative presentations. Do yourself a favor and stop by.
